In cooperation with Neue Galerie Berlin, we unveiled Hadi Salehi’s image “J.D.W” out of his series „Layers of Consciousness” at the Cologne art fair, Kölner Liste – Fair for Contemporary Art. The exhibit took place from the 15th until the 17th of April 2016. This particular image is an analog type c print, featuring additional handwriting of the photographer. With this special technique, Hadi Salehi is leaving the traditional boundaries of analog photography and is pushing the art form in the direction of image making. The artwork positions itself at the intersection between painting and analog photography to depict broken narratives.
We are expanding our outreach in the coming months and years to other European photography and art fairs with images out of Hadi Salehi’s vast portfolio, showcasing his divers body of work to interested audiences and collectors throughout Europe.
